NSW Government Architect's Office

The NSW Government Architect’s Office Heritage Group is a dedicated team of specialists providing a wide range of heritage conservation consultancy services to local, state and national government agencies, to institutions and to the private sector. Services include conservation management planning, heritage impact assessments, condition surveys, feasibilities, materials and building restoration & adaptive reuse of heritage buildings and landscapes.

The 20 strong team includes conservation architects, archaeologists, researchers as well as technical, interiors and interpretation specialists. Mr Bruce Pettman and other team members have undertaken significant building and urban conservation projects and institutional strengthening training in the Asia & Pacific region including, Malaysia, Hong Kong SAR, China, Indonesia, Taiwan, Philippines, Vietnam, Myanmar, India and Sri Lanka as well as in Mexico.
